Just got GT5 today PS3 yesterday...........

Picked my long awaited (very) 2nd PS3 yesterday and got missus to buy me GT5 whilst at work today. Whilst im wating for the 606mb DL................
Anyone got any hints on the best car to start off with, assuming it like most GT games in GT mode? Buy chea[p car, get cr, buy upgrades, win more races etc?

I started with a Miata from the used car selection within game (not online). Same as GT of old really, like you say buy car, earn credits, buy bigger car...etc.

Do as many of the licences and special events as you can be bothered with before you start your A-Spec mode. It's a good way of levelling up and earning credits for your career. Also, if you fancy a supercar at any point, go for the Gallardo as you can use it for more than 1 event in the higher class events (trust me, you'll thank me for that little snippit of advice)

Have fun

Do the licence tests and special events until you've got enough cash to buy the car and upgrades needed for the first race in the furthest left seasonal event. Get mega exp an cr for that. Be able to buy cars necessary for the other seasonal events then for even more exp and cr.

you can afford the premium type r civic at the start. dont buy the most expensive lamborghini, its sh*t.

the licences and special events are definitly the way to go at first though for cars and credits.
