Yep looks good. Mid race saves are a god send can't wait to do Le Mans. Have updated standard cars with cockpits too but can't believe they have done some like GTPSP ones

Maybe I'm being a cynic here, but surely most of that should have been in the release title after 6 years in development! I for one would rather have some updated cars and new tracks rather than having to choose which of the 40 skylines I want to drive!!!

Well mid game race saves are not exactly as you would expect. Rather than a save it's a suspension. So you can suspend the race when you enter the pits and then turn off the PS3 but when you turn it back on to play the game you have to start the race from the suspended position. You can't do anything else. So you can't take part in your weekly comp and then go back to the race you suspended. More half assed features

Will be giving this a go tonight, reportedly there is some 'actual' feel of grip through the tyres via FFB, that will possibly give it a new lease of life, until Friday that is..

it was always likely to be like that. its the same as mid championship saves. not great but it makes the long races doable at least.

What's everyone's thoughts? I've just backed to backed FM4 Zonda Challenge vs Zonda R around Laguna Seca in a time trial on GT5..

- Tearing seems a little better, it still tears around Rome, but it's not as bad for me
- Track loading is better, even if the total time is the same, just splitting it into the track/cars loading makes it feel much shorter

Physics: Worth a mention, something has changed for sure, the suspension does seem a little more reactive, and FFB is a fraction better, but it's still quite numb, no sense of 'pushing' the tyres at all for me.. And it still does this predictable 4 wheel 'slide' when you turn in, which is so easy to control, which just feels really weird (After coming from the FM4 demo)..

Menu's still seem to take ages and are still poorly thought out..

Overall, I'm pretty much on the fence with this, it isn't the update I was hoping it might have been.. It's OK, and the DLC will be nice..
