As it's a 12 week comp is a drop scores system possible? It could help keep the numbers up after the first few weeks.

Its in the rules - everyone drops 1 week (their worst result)

Is there a limit to how many of the same make/model of car you will allow?

What assists are allowed?

Sorry, must have skipped over that bit. Perhaps two due to the length of the series and the likelihood of people taking holidays etc?

No limit. I'd hope we get a variety of cars - I'm erring towards a Lexus or a Vauxhall myself

ABS is the only assist allowed, just added that to the sign up thread.

I could live with two, one for each half of the season?

Errrr.......I'd like to say yes, but they don't fit sorry. The Sierra/Escort are 2 door, the Omni a hatchback and the Cortina a bit old (and 2 door again)?

We do have the Lotus Carlton which is as close as a true Repmobile as your going to get, the 1988 E28 M5 is also a strong contender for a true repmobile?

I just tried to reply with Tapatalk, but it's saying that the forum no longer supports it?

What I was going to say was that I'm having to consider dropping out due to relying heavily on TCS and STM for RWD cars, I have about three that I can just about get away with in my whole 350-car Forza garage.

Also, the braking line is quite important to me as well, though less-so than the tractin/stability.

I, too, have picked the Alfa 155, but had no problems keeping the weight and power, just left all the weight-reduction untouched.

Ended up with the Alfa at around 2,900lbs with about 414bhp if I remember correctly.

I tried a good few laps around Maple with all assists off bar ABS and didn't manage a clean lap. Though I did manage to get a few in where I pointed the right way the whole lap... so thwere was some improvement, but for the safety of other drivers I'll have to carefully consider going ahead.

I didnt get time to before I left but I will be putting some cars on my SF for people to try, and like I say I will be doing a lot of practice sessions.

I wont be at home next few days but if I get a chance to nip on Forza, I'll upload some cars to try

As its says in the sign in thread....IS350

I've had to buff her up and dust her down after winning the last champ. Popped down to Halfords and thrown a wing on and an alpine tree air freshner...ready to roll! God I love being back in this car!

.........

The 350 is good isn't it? TBH The 350/300/Altezza has always been a good touring/A600 style car throughout all the Forza's. Its tempting for me to pick but that Vauxhall is groing on me esp as its a lot better than the Forza 3 equivelent.

Have you took it online? Its refreshing to race cars like these in lobbies and plonkers in little tiny civics/elises/mr2's tend to bounce off you haha

I've yet to give the Volvo S60 a good work out to, thats another long standing favourite of mine (albeit in an AWD config) but RWD its pretty good.

It IS my A Class lobby car...for the exact reason you stated above...makes a great Elise swat and there is not alot that can beat it in a straight line.

Going off the last champ the main cars that were competative (Bear in mind there was no aero in that champ) was the E28 M5 for handling tracks and the Merc C63 AMG on stuff with power although it got to top speed quicker than the IS350 the lexus would eventually monster it. The CTS V was also a good car when the guy who was using it appeared.

I was put off a bit on the CTS-V but I'm sure a decent driver can get it to perform. The Merc I want to put some time into but I haven't rebuilt it since I increased the weight/power limit.

E28 was my first choice, I think it looks supurb lowered etc

i'm liking my volvo s60 but haven't really put much effort into running another. The lexus would be nice for sentimental value.

How about an 850 Estate? I know it's not a saloon, but it's a full on rep-mobile with a touring car history...

Choice of Damage and Assists

Its been questioned wether no Braking Line and Simulation Damage is the best combination for this

I'd be willing to compromise and offer the braking line if you wish to use it, but simulation damage will be staying.

How does that sound?

Season Length

It is all 1 season, parts 1 and 2 if you like. You can join at the end of part 1 if you like but it will be the same season.

You have to shout BANZAI every time you overtake someone haha.

On a more serious note i dont mind, i do race with pixie line as it has been called but ill go without also sim damage!! my mind just might pop from the stress ha but its all fun.
