I did at first. Basically, when you shorten 6th, it seems to snap to 5th and then shortens them in tandem. But, it also creates a line for a fictitious 7th gear as well which looks like 6th on the chart.
As Joe said, start with one of the lower gears instead of 6th, then go to 6th and adjust as normal. I should sort of work.
